Heartbreaking
Misfits:
- Nathan: I never should have left you back there. I shouldn't have left you. I'm sorry.
oh god this scene kills me every time i can't help it i always tear up, even if it's just a little. i love their relationship so much because it shouldn't work (it should have been, a complete car crash) but it did. and nathan cared about her so much and he had this moment of weakness and let himself show through and ugh ok i'm done this scene is just beautiful really
Gilmore Girls
- Yeah, I know, this is kind of (just a little) pathetic but whatever. Anyway, the episode where Rory starts falling for Jess and Dean starts getting way to clingy (like he wasn't already) and then one evening Lorelai just comes home and Dean's sitting on her porch because Rory forgot to call him (yet again) and he goes... "She likes Jess, doesn't she." in this horribly defeated tone and then he just walks away... breaks my heart, every time. And I don't even like Dean.
- Jess: I made sure she was ok.
The Devil Wears Prada
- When she misses Nate's birthday and you can just tell their relationship is suffering and right before he goes to bed he says so forlornly: "You look really pretty." Yeah. I cry.
Skins
- Sid and Tony's goodbye scene in the finale. Best bromance of the friggin century.
Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince
- Don't even get me started on the books, because I swear to god combine all of those books together and you just have a laugh, cry, asdfghjkl fest. And I have technically only seen this particularly movie only twice, but the scene where Ron gets with Lavender and Hermione starts crying... :(
The Breakfast Club
- Allison: When you grow up, your heart dies. Bender: Who cares? Allison: I care.
Psych
- In the season finale after Mr. Yang gets away and they start playing Band of Horses and Jules breaks down and cries in Lassiter's arms... it's a beautiful scene because it really gives a more 3 dimensional aspect to their relationship but it also breaks my heart because she just had to go through this whole ordeal and i know it kills her that shawn didn't choose her on top of everything else and adglkjf i shouldn't watch television
13 Going on 30
- "i'm just crying because i'm happy... i want you to be so so happy. i love you matty. you're my best friend" "jenna... i've always loved you"
as soon as mark ruffalo takes out the barbie dreamhouse and jennifer garner goes "oh matty can i have it" in this saddest whisper imaginable, i start tearing up.
glee
- it didn't make me cry, per se, but the 'cough syrup' scene with blaine and karofsky may have been one of the best (and best edited) scenes on the show. too bad its context was just ughhhhh.
