Chili's (_Friday, March 6th_)

  • Debbie and Terry treated Marc, Melissa, and me
  • In attendance: Debbie, Terry, Nathaniel, Emily, Marc, Melissa, and me
  • Experienced the most embarrassing "Happy Birthday", Berry Manilow style, dragged out, after a "Woot woot" from the restaurant employees AND patrons.
  • Don't know how Terry slipped by letting them know it was my birthday.
  • The sisters shared a hot coffee alcoholic beverage...Debbie drinking most of it ;)
  • Free chocolate milk shake.
  • I went home with the kids. Terry drove his car side by side with Melissa driving mine...Terry being embarrassing.
  • Emily wanted me to watch "Beverly Hills Chihuahua".

The Melting Pot (_Sunday, March 8th_)

  • In attendance: Marc, Melissa, Emily (friend), Matt, Linda, and myself
  • Spinach and artichoke cheese fondue
  • Linda arrived just before choosing a chocolate
  • Flaming Turtle is DIVINE!!
  • So good. Want to go there again. For the entire experience.
  • Matt likes to stab other people's food off their fondue stick.
  • Matt and Linda fighting over the pot :D haha. Linda's determination and love for food = DOMINANCE, i.e. shoving Matt across the booth.
  • Matt, only one who ordered entree. He let me eat some of his salad :) and wouldn't cook his fillet Mignon for me more =/
  • Ordered Coffee drink, Burnt Almond Mocha, to share.
  • FREE CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES for me :D
  • Matt threw money down, a lot. My friends forced some of his money back so they could at least pitch in.
  • Bill close to $100...offset by $30 gift certificate Emily gave us for Christmas present. Therefore, I had to pay nothing!

Disneyland (_Monday, March 9th_)

  • Amazing presents. *cries tears of joy* So thoughtful! My friends are way too generous.
  • I &heart; Disneyland for their 2009 Birthday special offer.
  • Since I am an annual passholder and that day wasn't a blockout, I got to choose my alternative gift.
  • My choice: $69 in Disney merchandise! Awesome!!
  • One of the ladies who check bags said "You are really pretty" awww ^^
  • Another "Happy Birthday" badge for me. There were so many birthdays at Disneyland!
  • Due to Marc's promise last time, we were obliged to go on Tower of Terror. Eeee, nervous!!
  • Tower of Terror = first ride, to get it over and done with, and silence my whining
  • I kept hold of those seat bars and my legs were shaking, but it was fun XD.
  • Ate Gumbo in New Orleans. Had my own bread bowl, managed to hollow it out :).
  • Browsed shops like the Emporium. First time I did that with the notion I'd be getting something!
  • Found a dressy jacket in Adventure Land. Wanted to think about it first.
  • Second time around, getting colder, after Indiana Jones, with nudging from both Marc and Emily, went back for the jacket!
  • Browsed the Tomorrow Land shop (where I saw a sweatshirt I liked last time) after Space Mountain. Didn't see it, so my jacket WAS the right choice.
  • Blue Ribbon Bakery stop. Emily ate icecream, Marc a cinnamon roll, me with a hot cocoa.
  • Me nice and snugly warm in my new jacket! Emily...not so warm ^^;;. I was cold before I got that jacket too, so it was telling me to get it!
  • Stopped at World of Disney so Emily could browse when she gets her bday gifts ^^.
  • Thank you Disneyland for my birthday present!
