appearance

  • the whiteboard is a glossy, white surface for making non-permanent markings. it's made of melamine and it has a holder attached to it. this object is just your usual traditional dry-erase board that you would often find in classrooms, kitchens, offices etcetera.
    • the holder is decorated with stickers inside. it's only holding one whiteboard fine marker and one whiteboard eraser.

description

  • the whiteboard is the plane of existence for my ocverse. characters can spawn in here when they are created or cease to exist. it's nothing more than just a white blank slate that's an infinitely large room.
    • when viewed inside, all characters appear as their own original models. characters that are present inside the whiteboard will see things based on their interests.
    • when viewed in the real world, all characters appear as sketchy drawings using whiteboard markers. however, if the character has no complete design yet or is simply just a concept, they appear as paper drawings taped onto the board.
      • paper drawings are docile but has little potential to become dangerous. the odds are always low but never zero.
  • all worlds have their very own whiteboards, all having their very own distinct designs in each one.
    • using the whiteboard, characters can create portals to other universes by drawing a door that describes it best and entering it. or they can just draw one as they imagine the universe they want to go to. though, doors can be only used once. after being opened, it continues to exist for approximately 94 milliseconds before it poofs out of existence.

trivia

  • it's sentient. however, it chooses to keep its sentience a secret to the outside world in order to not freak anyone out. i suppose.
    • the only other object that knows of its sentience is marker. it, too, keeps its sentience a secret for the very same reason. though, when necessary, they write in order to assist someone or prevent them from damaging the plane.
