observations in starbucks katipunan

• 2009-11-05 10:16 sad christmas songs; hot grande peppermint mocha; dark, gloomy sky outside; lonely corner in an otherwise noisy coffeehouse. this is my bar.
• 2009-11-05 10:30 the depth of the chocolate, mocha and coffee; the light, cool touch of the peppermint, and the slightly sweet-sour aftertaste of chemicals that warp and mix with my saliva.
• 2009-11-05 10:38 myoclonic jerk - the feeling of falling when you're perfectly still.
• 2009-11-05 10:59 it's either there's something odd about 'white noise' or i'm just terrribly distracted to read a postmodern novel properly. or both.
• 2009-11-05 11:00 the sky outside is alternating between terribly dark and simply bland.
• 2009-11-05 11:01 i sat beside the wall because i want to fall asleep beside it.
• 2009-11-05 11:04 hanging beside me is this nice painting of this starbucks being built. the metal scaffoldings (if that's what they are) are blue.

• 2009-11-05 11:13 was going to say i wanted to smoke all of a sudden, but more accurately i imagined myself smoking outside. it's cold in here.
