  • was the hardest worker I've ever known.
  • gave bear hugs that left no question how much you were loved.
  • could silence a room with one deep sigh.
  • spanked me a total of 5 times. I remember each one.
  • told me he loved me every time we talked.
  • listened to what you hadn't said as much as what you had.
  • could watch the History channel or TLC all day long.
  • was known to chew tops of glass beer bottles off when he drank too much.
  • was known as a hell-raiser in his day.
  • was the very next draft lot to be called before the Vietnam War ended.
  • literally gave a man the shirt off his back at least once that I know of...
  • was 6foot 4inches tall w/pythons for arms.
