Saw this on my friend Nina's Facebook page.

A: Age you made your first international trip

  • 10. Went to Hong Kong with my family.

B: Best (foreign) beer you’ve had and where

  • Angkor Beer in Siem Reap, Cambodia

C: Cuisine (Favourite)

  • Thai, Thai, Thai! Though Filipino is a very close favorite, of course. I miss it every time I go abroad.

D: Destinations. Favourite. Least Favourite. Why.

  • Bangkok -- I've come back every year since my first visit. I love the food. And it hosts a tennis tournament.
  • Hong Kong is always a good quick escape, especially during colder months.
  • Surprisingly my most visited country after these two is France.
  • I wasn't particularly fond of Fez, but I'm willing to give it another chance.

E: Event you experienced that made you say ‘Wow’

  • My first look on the terre battue of Roland Garros

F: Favourite mode of transportation

  • Airplanes and trains. I'm scared of water so I try to limit travelling on boats and will only board one when necessary.

G: Greatest feeling while travelling

  • When I start to feel at home in a very unfamiliar place

H: Hottest place I’ve travelled to

  • Bangkok in May. Manila, everyday! Haha.

I: Incredible service you’ve experienced and where

  • Business class on Etihad Airways, the best

J: Journey that took you the longest

  • Same as Nina -- TOTAL: 23 hours
    • Quezon City to NAIA: 3 hours (it was very traffic)
    • NAIA to Abu Dhabi: 8 hours
    • Abu Dhabi to Casablanca: 9 hours
    • Casablanca to Meknes: 3 hours

K: Keepsake from your travels

  • Magnets and sometimes keychains if it's really something I like

L: Let down sight. Why and where?

  • Hmm. The Fez medina? Though I don't really hate it, I just felt claustrophobic.

M: Moment where you fell in love with travel

  • Not sure how it started, but it was something I was interested in even when I was young. My love was affirmed when we were required to make a travel journal for class when I was 12. I ended up researching not just the places but the actual flight schedules.

N: Nicest hotel you’ve stayed in

  • Hong Kong Disney Hotel for the sheer novelty of having everything designed with Mickey ears? I'm not really sure, since there's little opportunity for me to stay in hotels. But as far as all types of accommodations go I really liked Babel Siem Reap (Cambodia) and Riad Hiba (Meknes, Morocco).

O: Obsession. What are you obsessed with taking pictures of while traveling?

  • Walls and patterns. My travelling toy, Treeson, on famous sites. Cats.

P: Passport stamps. How many and from where?

  • I don't feel like counting but my current passport has stamps from Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, France, Indonesia, Morocco, and the entry/exit stamps of the Philippine Immigration.

Q: Quirkiest attraction you’ve visited and where.

  • The Man in the Wall in Montmartre

R: Recommended sight, event, or experience.

  • Rome by foot, literally

S: Splurge. Something you have no problem forking over for while travelling.

  • Food, decent transportation, books

T: Touristy thing you’ve done

  • Going to Trocadero to get my picture taken with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Cliché!

U: Unforgettable travel memory

  • Crashing on a bike while on a downward trail in Pulau Ubin, Singapore! It hurt, but I felt so hardcore afterwards, haha!

V: Visas. How many of them and for where.

  • UK (once) and Schengen (issued thrice)

W: Wine, best glass while traveling and where.

  • While staying over in my aunt's house in Limeuil we would be served wine in most meals. That's probably the most wine I've had in any trip. But I'm not a big wine drinker, so I won't be able to tell if I'd even already had the best glass ever.

X: eXcellent view and from where

  • Flying over the Pyrenees from Paris to Barcelona in winter
  • The crazy but scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains in Morocco

Y: Years spent travelling

  • My first plane trip was when I was 10. But I'd been travelling more frequently (and sometimes solo) since 2007.

Z: Zealous sports fans and where!

  • If I can earn enough to watch the World Cup in Brazil in 2014, maybe I'll have an answer for this! But I am a zealous sports fan myself, so...
