recently, I have started to reconnect with my spirituality. this has always been something deeply personal to me as I personally disagree with the idea of subscribing to a religion. for me, my spirituality goes beyond prayer and ritual - it means making changes and modifications to my lifestyle and mindset, being in tune with how I am feeling and how my actions impact the world around me. there is little you can change about this world on an individual basis. whilst you cannot shape the behaviours of others or nature itself in a significant way, you can always choose how you react to things and how you respond to that which you can do nothing about. the universe has a plan for us all; sometimes we may not understand it but it is easier to think of tribulations as fate rather than the actions of a cruel and unfeeling god. spirituality requires me to be in tune with myself, to stay grounded,...
