• angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup hummus
  • 1/4 cup vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 cup peas
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced
  • meat alternative (optional)

cooking

  • start pasta and steam peas
  • slice scallions while waiting
  • put meat alternative on low heat (season if desired)
  • whisk together hummus wth vegetable stock and soy sauce
  • toss together pasta and hummus mixture, adding water to thin if needed

plating

  • add sesame seeds, peas, and scallions before serving
