• I've gotten many different kinds of jobs, hence I have "passed" many different kinds of job interviews before :)
  • a little about myself: I'm a new transfer student from PCC and a junior! I'm very excited to be here at PSU and narrowing down my studies. I'm studying psychology and criminology/criminal justice.

I'm very artistic and love knitting, drawing and painting, reading, and D&D, MtG, etc.

  • I'm looking for a job where I feel like I have the opportunity to learn the most from my workplace and from my tasks. I'm a student first and foremost, so anything to build knowledge or experience (even in unexpected ways! such as the garden job, or Metro Parks Dept) can be beneficial.
  • My former job involved a lot of campus outreach and educating on our department's resources. We gave away food, provided a place for people to hang out and relax, or volunteer and work in the garden themselves, and feel good about helping grow produce and flowers that could help them or help people in their community. I really appreciated seeing the direct impact of people returning week after week, or showing up to the garden and seeing their progress in keeping their favorite plants, etc. I also felt like I gained just as much just by getting to meet so many different people, interact with so many different layers of the community outside of just my own classes. It's easy to get tunnel vision within your own college experience, and this was a way for me to see outside of my usual circles
  • programs the SLS offesr: explore the law, internships, notary services, in person or remote attorney educational experiences/panels/etc, free legal services to students and
  • My greatest strength? I'm punctual, timely, dedicated, and hard working. I am also very sympathetic and passionate about helping people

I genuinely want to help people, and I try to be the person to not let someone fall behind. I feel like

  • my greatest flaw? I am very detail oriented and can easily get bogged down in the details of a project, or a problem, and have to zoom out to see the bigger picture.
  • I've done so much!! and am making amazing progress in my life... I am proud of myself
