Apparently Normal Part. Deals w/ managing the outside life and usually aren't connected to trauma.
Emotional Part. Usually inside parts. Always hold traumatic memories & are connected to trauma in some way, often being stuck in the sensory experience of the memory. Despite the name, EPs are not required to be emotional.
When an alter has not integrated, but is no longer active in the system. Alters can be dormant for an indefinite amount of time.
A type of protector. Generally deals with caring for other alters and some external people (ex. children). Tend to be motherly. Become exhausted easily as they have a limited role, and have little capacity for things such as play or socializing.
Can hold back specific memories, or control what alters take the body and when. Has extensive knowledge of different alters and how they work together. Can prevent traumatized alters from appearing.
Alter that incorporates an identity or beliefs from a fictional source. It's common for these alters to also use the name of that fictional source. Alters usually they form as introjects. Fictional introjects can come from just about any piece of media, including characters from songs and art, but it's more common for them to be from books/games/etc.
Maria was a fictional introject "out of necessity" but no longer identifies as that way. Marcello and the twins are our only introjects.
Alters with extremely limited role and/or limited range of emotions.
An alter that takes over the front & does little else besides making sure the body is taken care of.
A type of protector. Acts in harmful ways towards the system, in an attempt to protect the system. Commonly punishes alters for acting "out of line" to prevent harm to the system.
A type of alter whose role is to protect and assist the system.
An alter that views themself as non-human. This can be for a variety of reasons (or none at all), but commonly happens because of abuse that makes them "no longer feel human".
Actively deals with sexual abuse & keeps memories of it away from other alters.
Flashbacks of traumatic memories that usually only involve sensory and are easily mistaken as hallucinations. An example is the feeling of being touched repeatedly when there's no one nearby.
