- Space Mowgli ✓ by Strugatsky brothers (I had no idea that the name of novel was translated to English like that. Neat!). Really proud with the fact that I got a 35 y.o. (almost like new) book with some other stories of theirs, including The Way to Amalthea and Space Apprentice.
It didn't really leave any kind of strong impression on me. The story is quite unremarkable if I am honest, and some parts were left either for reader to figure out themselves or were not explained because the novel was a bit rushed. I'm not sure. But I had a lot of fun reading it anyways.
Also have read The Kid from Hell since it was in the same book. Not bad either, but also is not really up my valley. I didn't really get the point of this whole reeducation of Gack thingy. All of the Kornei's attempts are lacking any effort and while the ending is expected in a good sense, the whole path to that ending felt nonsencial.
