Russell ( he/him ) is a withdrawn, dorky 22 year old eastern hognose snake who likes morbid things, is self-conscious of himself, and is self-conscious that people will find him creepy for liking morbid things.

He's seen as a quiet type, which isn't exactly true. Slow to warm up to others. Not in a cold or abrasive way, but he's intimidated by attention from strangers. Once he's warmed up, he's still a bit timid, but he's friendly and eager to ramble.

Russell adores everything tragic and scary. He loves gory horror movies, he loves creepy music, and he likes unnerving stories.

For his job, he works as a part of road upkeep. Specifically he's part of a roadcrew who repair roads and sidewalks & clear out litter, roadkill, and other debris from roads. His role is more assistance based, as he hasn't been in the job too long. So he's mainly doing boring stuff like cleaning up the roads or paperwork instead of the more fun stuff like driving the snowplow when it snows.

► He typically is at 4'9" / 144cm. He can stretch up to be taller, but he only does this when necessary since it's uncomfortable. ( From nose-to-tailtip, he's nearly 10' / 303cm )

► Fun facts: he has a pet tarantula (an

named abby). he has little itty bitty fangs that are only visible when he opens his mouth at the right angle. ( Technically has venom, but it's not dangerous to mammals. Would never venom someone on purpose. ...He would (dry!) bite a friend playfully though. )

► Can do typical hognose shenanigans such as: playing dead, sunbathing, poking things with his nose.

► I see Russell as more of an OC than a S/I. He has a lot of similarities, but he also has his own quirks and traits that I wouldn't do. He's not me but he's also not not me, you understand. I still have more fun viewing him as a character in a story. (But it's fine if you call him a S/I I don't mind)
