  • Abrham has a child (Ishmael) with his maidservant Hagar
  • Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot
  • Sarah get pregant with Isaak! yay! She sends Hagar and her son Ishmael away
  • God test Abraham and asks him to sacrifice Isaak
  • Sarah dies and Abraham mourns
  • Isaak gets a wife in Rebekah (cool divine way that they know she is his wife)
  • Abraham has mores sons and dies.
  • Ishmael (Hagar, Sarah's maidservant, and Abraham's son) has many kids then dies
  • Isaak (Abraham and Sarah's son) marries Rebekah and has twin boys Esau and Jacob. (25:19) Jacob and Esau fight and Jacob gets Esau's birthright (lots of tension and conflict ensues) and his blessing because Rebekah favored Jacob.
  • Jacob fled to his grandfather's land to get a wife and get away from the bitter Esau.
  • Jacob and Laban (Rebekah's dad) get along. Jacob wants to marry his daughter Rachel, so he works 7 years to get her, but Laban gave him Leah to sleep with instead. He worked another 7 years to get Rachel.
  • Rachel and Leah basically have a competition to see who can bear Jacob the most children, using their maidservants too. Leah had many, Rachel ended up hvaing Joseph and Benjamin. Jacob favored Rachel and her son Joseph.
  • Jacob takes his wives and everything he has and flees Laban. They are not on good terms. They meet and figure it out.
  • Esau and Jacob have a happy and Divine reunion.
  • Rachel dies giving birth to Benjamin.
  • Jacob and Esau's father Isaak dieds.
  • the whole story of Joseph, the brothers going to and from Egypt, famine, etc. Joseph reveals himself and see's Jacob.
  • Jacob dies and all brothers are on good terms.
  • Joseph makes his family promise that they will trust God's promise to Abraham, Isaak, and Jacob of aiding them nd taking out from the place they are and taking to the place promised to them. Then, Joseph dies.
