Synna wants to rid all the world of "evil"; this mostly being just daedra, undead, misusers of magic (e.g. witches, necromancers), and sometimes even just outlaws. She starts out travelling from the High Rock borders near Skyrim to Winterhold to enroll with the college. While studying there, she notices how much bad things there actually are in Skyrim, so she decides to stay there, at least for the moment, to try and make the world a better place. While in Skyrim, she learns that a dragon has attacked Helgen. She dives into this mystery with scholarly intrigue and the wish to help stop this dragon from doing evil, when she learns that she is Dragonborn. She eagerly goes along with this, as her sole wish is to purify the world with these new powers.
