  • hmm, a bit of mixed feelings on this one tbh... it's very sweet and cozy, but early/mid game was def the highlight and most charming for me. after that point, i felt it was just mostly tedious tasks and busywork for the sake of busywork. and when there were only a few passengers left, there was ultimately nothing to do but loiter around lol.

  • was v hard to put this down tbh! was so fun exploring all the various areas, improving pieberry's stats (focused on agility and strength), and running into bosses you may not be prepared for lol! story was v cute but the gameplay loop was what sucked me in and kept me engaged ^_^

  • god this aged sooo well?? even w/o any graphic enhancement mods this game still looks so pretty it's hard to believe that it came out in 2009
  • forgot how strong the main cast and their dynamics are too! sazh and vanille are my personal highlights but tbh everyone plays off of e/o p well! final fantasy more like found family lol
  • also paradigm system my beloved... one of my fav combat/atb systems it's just super snappy and fun esp if you play manual mode. the game rly favors aggressive strategies, which i'm still getting used to lol, but i'm having a great time so far in my replay!

  • rly enjoy the gameplay and going through each town and learning the npcs and the setting! wish there were more party interactions though. i feel like most of the travel banter is v cute... but also safe sometimes? like there aren't rly any interactions that stand out to me in the main party as opposed to the npcs in their respective stories (but we will see w the crossed paths stories)
  • that being said... whenever ochette calls hikari "hikarin" in battle... the serotonin boost ^_^
