- Review: While the plot behind this book was unique, there was so much back history and detail given in the first half that I got completely bogged down and disinterested. Also, I had trouble relating to the characters on a personal level. I just found them very two-dimensional and spoiled, really. They DID both have life changing events and their personalities evolved towards the end. Fortunately I didn't give up reading. By the second half of the story the plot finally picked up and I enjoyed it from that point onward.
