When I moved from the boonies of Leelanau County in northern Michigan to the biggest and busiest county in southern Michigan, I had a lot of getting used to ahead of me. Here's what I have accomplished:

    - Learning to deal with more aggressive traffic
- Coping with the larger amount of agressive & angry people
- Somehow managing to make friends with my new neighbors
- Getting used to not having to know everyone by name to fit in
Here's what I still need to work on:

    - Learning all the crazy roads that stop at one point and start again somewhere else miles away
- Finding a nice place
- Keeping up with the fast pace of the city
- Staying in style with the other city girls
- Coping with stuck-up/shallow rich people
- Finding a good restaurant that isn't from a chain
- Making a good, good friend
- Making it rich! Because you can only do that in the city!
Here's what I won't miss:

    - Being a half-an-hour drive away from everything
- Every establishment closing at 8pm if not earlier
- Six feet of snow by the beginning of November
- Six feet of snow period
- The everyone knows everbody atmosphere
Here's what I'll never be able to get used to:

    - Only being able to see a handful of stars at night
- Feeling so alone in a big city
