- pathologic (2005): takes place over the course of twelve days in the remote town-on-gorkhon on the steppe. when an outbreak of a unique strain of plague grips the town, three healers—a Bachelor of medicine, a Haruspex surgeon, and a blessed Changeling—must race to discover the cause of the plague and destroy it.
- fallout: new vegas (2010): as you were delivering a package to the new vegas strip, a strange man stops you and captures you, only for you to be shot in the head. he leaves you for dead and takes your package. you awaken in a clinic in the town of goodsprings, where a doctor heals you and helps you get back on your feet. you have to defeat this strange man and have him pay for his crimes and find out what's in the package.
- bioshock 2 (2010): set eight years after the events of bioshock 1, the game follows subject delta, a prototype big daddy sent on a quest to reunite with the little sister he was previously bonded to, eleanor, across a changed and even more dangerous rapture.
- nier (2010): set in a post apocalyptic world, the protagonist, nier, sets out to cure his daughters illness called the black scrawl. he roams the world with two allies completing mercenary work and fighting mysterious monsters known as shades.
- alice: madness returns (2011): 10 year old alice lost her family in a fire. for 10 years she remained catatonic in an asylum while her condition caused wonderland to turn - dark.
- mad father (2012): 11-year-old girl named aya breaks into her father's secret laboratory to uncover the horrifying truth of his research.
- the boogie man (2015): keith baring is a cold, devoted detective whose boss decides he needs to take some time off. while on a tour of an old castle with his wife helena, she makes a startling confession to him.
- the hanged man (2017): a boy walks through the snow, wandering around town. after running from place to place, he ends up in an old, abandoned building in the woods.
