Tabletop RPGs ---------------

d20 system

  • Dungeons and Dragons 3.5
    • Forgotten Realms: Faerun: starting level Half-Elf
Ranger named Lia, aged 21. Her Elf father and all of the Wood Elf village she lived in was killed by Orcs when she was little, fueling a feud between her and the ugly monsters. She looked for her human family and ended up being raised by her mother's brother, a rude and inconsiderate blacksmith. She likes it better when she's alone, until she meets a red-haired Sorcerer and a Wood Elf druid who claims to have met her years ago. (Reached level 7, campaign perpetually on hold.)
    • Forgotten Realms: Eberron: level 6 Half-Elf Sorceress named [oh my God, I forget!!], aged 23. As a member of a noble Half-Elf family she has status wherever she goes, but lives in the shadow of her two older brothers, who have managed to marry well and carry on the bloodline while making a fortune for themselves. She leaves to find herself and becomes an apprentice to a famous Sorcerer, falling in love her fellow apprentice Sorcerer [I don't remember his name either]. When the two try to kill her in order to obtain her family heirloom gem that lends her power, she flees in terror and becomes unable to trust again. (One-shot campaign also perpetually on hold.)
    • Generic setting: level 3 Favoured Soul (Cleric) of Corellon, Moon Elf named Calin'e. No backstory for her, it was a one-shot campaign in which three adventurers kill a horde of Gnolls (hyena-like monsters). And she wasn't even particularly good at anything other than falling off cliffs and being swept by river currents (I blame the dice for that).
    • Core setting: level 16 Changeling Multi-class Monk named Lin Dar'on. Haven't thought of a backstory for her yet but I will, she's awfully interesting.
  • Dungeons and Dragons 4:
    • level 22 Half-Elf
Sorceress named Kat (no joke, this was a randomly generated name on the official DnD application). Apprentice of Cosmic Magic. Companion to a Githyanki Artificer named Zunyalta (just Zun for friends).
  • Mutants and Masterminds:
    • power rank 10 supervillain named Roxie Tart (her real name is Jane Smith, though). She uses her mind control powers, which she got during a freak accident at her father's company's secret laboratory, to charm her way into people's heads and use them for her evil purposes of filling the world with crime and debauchery. MWAHAHAHAHA!!

WhiteWolf system (d10)

  • Exalted 2nd Ed.
    • Sidereal Chosen of Secrets: Emerald River. Taken from her homeland of Celeren at the age of 4, she was trained at the city of Yu-Shan where Sidereals live. She was stubborn and reckless during her youth, but was able to quickly grasp all elements of her magical or martial arts training. She became a Sorceress after her first mission in Creation, sacrificing the bond between her and her beloved, a Chosen of Serenity. While she is still in pain over losing him, the powers she gained by becoming a Terrestrial - and then a Celestial - Sorceress have given her a clear focus in life.
    • Solar one-time guest: Rhianna. Don't remember much about her (since she wasn't a character of my own) - just that she was part of a party that was being led to think they used to be very important in the First Age but it turns out they were being fooled by some lame ghost servant or something.
    • Solar Zenith: Lily of the Rain (Ameno Yuri). Coming from the islands in the West Pelago, Lily dreams of becoming the most famous singer in all of Creation. She embarks on a journey to make her name and presence known to the world, and when she exalts her life takes on all kinds of awesome and epic turns.
    • Alchemical Starmetal: Excessively Effective Amethyst. An engineer of extreme talent, she can craft and fix anything she comes across. Her goal is to figure out a way to heal Autochthon with her incredible engineering skills, and then make sure that he is kept running forever. She bravely fought against a bunch of gremlins and their masters, saving her native city of Banat from sure destruction.
  • Scion
    • Polykseni Anagnostou, (adopted) daughter of Artemis. Medium-ranking cop in the Greek Police Force. Deadly beautiful and a lesbian. She meets a son of Poseidon and a son of Zeus when commotion is caused outside a football stadium on the night of a match, and together they face the all-powerful Ninja Baron (Πανίσχυρος Μεγιστάνας των Ninja)!!

Other systems

  • Generic Universal Role-Playing System (GURPS)
    • Steam Punk one-shot: Marianna Mavrou, an adventurer lady living in Greece in the late 1800s, in an awesome alternate reality in which Lord Byron doesn't die, and instead creates the world's first computer, a primitive machine that calculates numbers. Greece becomes the centre of education and industrial revolution in the world, and Marianna, continuing her late husband's work of traveling the world, living on the edge and making lots of money, meets a Greek spy and a scientist and rescue a cartographer from an African Roman colony. (Yes, it was THAT epic.)
    • Infinite Worlds one-shot: Martha Norman, a Homeline-native historian whose dream is to live and experience all the different worlds and histories possible through her adventures as an agent of the Infinity Patrol. She successfully apprehended three Centrum agents in two worlds with her partner Jack Smith, after being side-tracked from an Echo world through a reality quake and coming face-to-face with a mob organisation in a robotic-uprising-Hellworld. She is flippant and curious, with curly red hair and glasses.
  • AEG
    • 7th Sea: Pirate one-shot: Sophie Praisse, a Montaign (French) noble, travels to a Castillan (Spanish) colony just off the edge of Europe to attend the grand opening of an opera. When the building catches fire mid-performance, she bravely rescues the people trapped by the fire and works with an Avalonian (English) pirate and a Castillan noble in order to solve the mystery of the disappearance of a young and beautiful Montaign noble lady. Using her expertise at the French "Porte" sorcery, she gets to the bottom of the mystery and falls in love with the Avalonian pirate captain Berek. The continuation of her adventurous life remains a mystery. (ie: I really hope we continue this adventure ^__^)
    • Legend of the Five Rings: Bayushi Akiko, a Scorpion courtier, with excellent seductive talents which she uses to her advantage in social combat. In the Topaz Tournament she came undefeated to the final, where she was ultimately defeater by her cousin and good friend Doji Toshiro. They both graduated with honours and debuted into society.

Live-Action RPGs -----------------

World of Darkness (WhiteWolf)

  • Mage: Acanthus mage [don't remember her name]. Campaign was a fiasco due to certain co-players, so it's frozen and probably NEVER coming back. Not very sad about it.
  • Hunter:
    • Tier 1 hunter (no conspiracies or allies or anything): Vasiliki [last name? I need to find my character sheet]. She and her brother lost their parents to a demon, and grew up in an orphanage wondering exactly what had happened on that fateful night. They move to the big city when they're old enough, looking for supernatural beings to lead them in the trail of the being that stole their family and all chances of a normal life. (Campaign perpetually frozen due to lameness of characters - it's NOT fun when you're hopeless against a simple Boogeyman D:)
    • VASCU Agent Danny Moreland, stationed in Greece upon rumours of hightened slasher activity. She grew up in a small town in Illinois where her father was a sheriff. A serial killer began to target victims in the small town and the sheriff did his best to identify the killer. Before he was able to share his findings with the rest of the town cops, the killer got to him and murdered him in cold blood, leaving town and laying low. Years later, Danny found her father's notes on who the killer must be through psychology and deduction, and decided to go into profiling in order to apprehend her father's murderer. After a case in NYC that had a strong supernatural element, she was recruited into VASCU due to her latent psychic potential. She is proving to be a very valuable asset to the Unit and to the FBI, and secretly is still hoping to one day catch the guy who killed her father.
