staring at the empty walls around me, while the rest of the campus is plunged into dormant bliss

• wearing rain boots, jeans, and my raincoat, exploring the thick brush of untrodden ground
• walking up the hill from the sky train and naming all the constellations i could see
• going to dundarave or ambleside when it's windy and deserted and the waves are rushing to meet the shore, writing in my journal with frigid hands, looking over with derision to the leafless, treeless, north-west side of stanley park where you can still see the impact of thr '06 windstorm
• walking along the seawall from jericho to wreck beach
• going to yvr to sit and watch, after ordering a french vanilla and donut. staying until late at night.
