From the moment Muse A arrives, Muse B is on his best behavior, lavishing her with gifts – a library wing for her, a pretty garden filled with the finest, imported roses – jewelry, and so on. Gradually, Muse A comes to see that Muse B isn’t a horrible person, behind closed doors, but the circumstances of their arrangement (and the terrible crimes he commits as a crime boss) make it difficult for her to fall in love with him as he’s fallen in love with her. Each time Muse B proposes marriage, Muse A refuses. Muse A becomes terribly homesick and begs to be allowed to visit her father. Muse B allows her to leave him as long as she returns to him within a week’s time. While Muse A is away, Muse B is attacked by a disloyal bunch of conspiring underlings. When Muse A returns, she finds Muse B wounded and left for dead in his home office. She realizes in this moment that she does love him and if he recovers she’ll marry him. Her quick actions save his life and once he is well enough, they marry.
• Optional Twists: Dark Twist: Once Muse B recovers, Muse A willingly becomes part of the crime business. Together they seek revenge against those who betrayed Muse B. Romantic/Angst Twist: Once Muse B recovers, Muse B gives up his life of crime, since he’s assumed to be dead and he and Muse A run away together, with the condition that Muse A can never return home to her family. • ☆ A plot where Muse B is the leader/part of this really dangerous and famous gang and almost everyone knows who Muse B is, the horrible things they have done, how skilled they are at whatever weapon they like the most, how they have no mercy and will either kill you in matters of seconds or torture you until you're begging for death. They're cold, they're calculating, rumor has it they have a lack of heart and soul. But then, THEN, there's Muse A; pure, innocent, maybe shy and awkward (or not up to you??) personality is cute as fuck, a marshmallow that needs to be protected and, well, Muse B really wants to protect them in the moment their eyes land on Muse A even though they don't even know them because, "dude they look so fucking fragile someone is going to hurt them like wtf," and one day after days (or weeks) of Muse B admiring Muse A from afar they decide to approach them. Muse A is, of course, clueless about Muse B's identity but then eventually catches on and!!! angst ensues!!! ( credit )

Mates held you down, or so that's what they thought. That is until they laid eyes upon Muse A. It was over by that point. All at once Muse A became everything Muse B wanted, everything Muse B needed. For their entire life, Muse B had been alone. No family, no friends--just themselves. But Muse A.. Muse A was their everything. How did they know this? How could they know this? Because of all the rumors and legends.. their heart began to beat again, and for a short time it felt like their breath was taken away in awe. Muse A became the only person Muse B could feed from, the only person Muse B wished to be around. But then it happened. Threats came from others. Deadly threats that would tear the two apart. One day, Muse A's friend drags them out to a club called Nirvana. What Muse A doesn't know is that when they enter a club like that at nighttime...that's when the real demons come out to play. Muse B, the Alpha of Muse A's pack, has ruled many years without a Luna by his side, he's long since given up on finding her, long before Muse A was born. Muse A was always fascinated by Muse B, he was stern and rough, he protected the pack like a wild animal to ensure they lived safe and peaceful lives. With Muse A's father being a high ranking member of his council she spent a lot of time in the presence of Muse B, he knew her, she knew him. However, everything changes on Muse A's (X) birthday. Muse B is Muse A's mate. Muse A has never been sure if she wanted to be someone's mate, to be bonded with someone for life, but Muse B is the alpha.... and the alpha always gets what he wants...
