• back number (the gods of melancholic songs. #1 fan of Kiiro. I'd happily recommend their albums Humor and MAGIC, and also Nogashita Sakana and Ato no Matsuri for their older sounds.)
• Omoinotake (talk to me about them. they're very underrated, though I'd say all their past releases up until Ammolite are their best releases. I still like Ikuokukonen and Hitorigoto but Pieces album didn't hit the same. I have yet to listen to Memorabilia.)

• Fujii Kaze (some of his songs rlly helped me getting through hard times like Workin' Hard, Grace, and It's Alright. I cried during my flight listening to Grace, it's as if God sent me a 5-minute long voice note of Him singing idk.)

• Coldrain (well they're technically a Japanese band but they sing in English. Anyway Nonnegative, THE SIDE EFFECTS, VENA are their best albums)
• Sawano Hiroyuki\[nZk\]. Any song that has him and Mizuki together.
• Official HIGE DANdism. mmmmm I'm not actively following them, but Traveler and Escapade used to be my favourites. Editorial as well. I used to have an unhealthy attachment to Zero no Mamade Iraretara (a track from MAN IN THE MIRROR).
• King Gnu. PRETTY PLEASE LISTEN TO THE GREATEST UNKNOWN IN ORDER (actually I hate SPECIALZ but im tolerating it for the sake of that album #experience). i also like CEREMONY and Sympa.
• Takayan. ppl are hating on him on his lastfm page idk why??? but i deem 'I love you in any way' and 'All humans are menhera' good songs. personal favourites.
• ATLUS Sound Team. LMAO. u can say their English songs are goofy and sometimes making words up but I DONT CARE they make me bop so hard. very obvious what album I'm talking about (wink wink Persona 3 Reload and Episode Aigis wink wink)
