- Fresh baguette with any of the following
- nutella
- avocado (also with tomato or tomato/turkey)
- pico de gallo
- Charque de llama
- basically jerky, not for everyone, fyi I was lied to up until 4 months ago about this, my mom makes a beef version but in Bolivia it's made with llama so all those times, I was eating llamas who knew? Not me obviously.
- served with llajua, a spicy slasa
- Carne asada with rice, huevo estrellado (sunny side up) and ensalada on top mmmm...
- Hot italien sausage with rice (rice has red, yellow, orange bell peppers and parsley diced up in it)
- Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings
- Pique Macho (vegetarians worst nightmare)
- there are different variations, my fave is w/o hardboiled egg and jalapeno peppers but add my own mayo/mustard sauce and extra onions and a slice of avocado yummmm
- Api con pastel
- my mom only makes it for Christmas and New Years but it's sooooo good!!!
- Sopa de Mani
- it's a peanut soup and although the pic doesn't show it but there's also homemade french fries on top (best part!) I eat it w/o meat though
- Classic pasghetti with garlic bread of course
- Chicarron de Chancho con mote
- again, veggie's worst nightmare but so good. Basically simmered pork/beef/chicken in beer and other stuff. Best with fresh llajua.
