canon: the movie's canon with a few changes

memories:

• Oh Boy!
• the best way i can describe my canon is sort of... a future earth?
  • humans built robots, and the robots rebelled and annihilated humanity. it was way before my time, but i remember learning about it in school.
  • a lot of the reason things were the way they were was because of the human influence! we did stuff like that because that's what humanity considered normal.
• i was built without a voicebox! i never had one!
  • i think my model didn't come with one and we could never find the right part.
  • it's okay, though, cause i learned sign language!!
• lug was my friend for a really long time, we knew each other since we were kids! we went to school together, and eventually moved to robot city together!
• i currently don't remember what my town was called, but it was really small! i think part of why lug and i left was because of poverty...
• i'm not sure how we met the rusties, but they were really nice right off the bat! i'm so grateful for them and aunt fanny.

additional notes:

• like i said before, i knew sign language! lug knew it too, but his hands weren't very versatile, so he'd mainly just "listen"!
  • i had special signs for all of my friends!
• i could make really simple sounds, but nothing past a whir. if i tried to talk without a voicebox, it just sounded like machinery.
• i had a little collection of voiceboxes! i never liked any of them enough to stick with, but they were nice to have around! i kind of preferred not to have one, honestly!
• my signs and gestures were WAY over exaggerated, i moved around a lot!! it was more fun!
• lug and i shared a room together at aunt fanny's! we had a hammock that we'd share, and a couple of other odds and ends.
  • i liked sleeping on lug's chest. i could hear his mechanics- it was comforting.
• fender and piper were from a really bad situation, i think.. they may have lived on the streets for a while before finding aunt fanny's.
• fender was originally yellow before i knew him!
• most of earth was metal, but there were actually some patches of organic area! they were really spooky; dystopian and overgrown...
• there's a lot more odds and ends, i'll add them as i remember!!
