- The background is well applied acrylic. -Don't skimp on paint quality, I prefer Montana Gold cans. -The type of cap you use is crucial, buy a few and get a feel for the differences in size of spray and volume of paint. -Penny stacks work well but here is the real secret, I use acetate sheets to cut my stencils then easy tack spray glue to attach it to the canvas. Takes a little practice to get the right amount of glue... -Best advice, get out there and practice.
