to be honest, i completely forgot this place excisted, and then i remembered and now i've been reading my old lists back to back. cringing at the grammar and spelling while at the same time being rather amused at my literary musings, maybe it's time i wrote a new book list? things have changed a lot since that last book list. i mean, a few years to begin with. i've just completed a bachelor in english literature & creative writing and i'm currently standing on that great threshold of life, opportunity and potential otherwise known as "i need to get a fucking job and sort my life out"-spiel. OH WELL. let's talk about books.

this whole listopgraphy-blog turned into my quest for finding that new, cool, awesome fantasy series. it's not easy. it's really fucking not. i may have given the impression that this quest was pretty much the only thing on my mind, but when you're doing a degree in literature, fantasy is really difficult to come by, did you know that? apart from a bit of light angela carter reading in my first year and one gothic module i did in my third year, there was no fantasy in sight. something which made me sort of hate doing a literature degree. but as i finished my last piece of coursework in may (i had the total amount of zero exams in my last year) i was very determined to find that burning passion three years of doing a literature degree sort of diminished. so what can you do? read the hell out of life. and i found a new fantasy series to read that i got really into. so there's that.

so what have i read now that freedom has taken hold of me?
