Failure is just unmet conditions, unmet expectations, unmet ideals.
Something went wrong along the way, during the series of choices you made, one steered this whole thing off a cliff. A mistake. But it’s just that, a mistake.
Regroup, recalibrate, replan.
There is nothing you cannot fix, nothing you cannot solve.
Realistically, you know this, and the odds of you failing again are lower than the odds of you figuring it out.
And yet you hesitate.
Even if it all went to hell, it won't end you. It no longer can.
You will rise again, and again, and again.
No, you are far too selfish to do it for anyone else. It is not those dear to you who you are letting down, it is yourself, in all your versions and iterations.
The you who wanted, the you who was killed, the you who is yet to come.
