So friends, this is an exercise in ego, but I can live with that. It's also the easiest way to encourage stalkers without seeming entirely nuts. I'll live with that too.

About: I'm a student at UBC in lovely, rainy Vancouver. I live in an old house in the city with some rad roommates and a lot of house plants. I'm a writer, reader, activist, cyclist, and a history and anthropology major.

  • first and foremost, will share my spiritual views, for the most part
  • will have to love Dogs. Big dogs.
  • will have to be patient
  • also, opinionated and possibly well read
  • hopefully he'll be intelligent
  • and able to carry on both highly intellectual and completely ridiculous conversations- often simultaneously
  • will have to like good food (ie- my cooking)
  • will enjoy traveling
  • and have a heart to help others
  • will enjoy being out doors, especially kayaking
  • be taller than me (I enjoy wearing heels, capisce?)
  • will love children, and want many, I hope.
  • hopefully he'll be artistic, in some way or another
  • and kind
  • and funny
  • also, he'll like November, and cold weather.
  • he won't be afraid to be himself, whatever that means
  • unabashed
  • introspective, and emotionally intelligent
  • did I mention patient? That's an important one.
  • He'll be good with languages- or language or words
  • He'll be an easy person to be quiet with. And he'll value silence.
  • Ambition is key- but not out of greed or self-promotion
  • He can't be a teetotaler, but he also can't become easily addicted
  • He'll have to be flawed. And if he meets all of these, I'll be disappointed. The only necessary thing is the first that I mentioned, the rest is really inconsequential... (Except for the patience, maybe. That one's important.)
