- Always take responsibilities for your actions. Even if you can get away with it, don't. You'll hate it, but it'll build good moral character.
- Stop taking indulgent showers. California is in a severe drought, dammit! Get in and get out.
- Start volunteering more. Get involved with Red Cross again, and respond to that American Cancer Society correspondent!
- Take care of yourself first. Sounds selfish, but you can't help others if you have your own struggles. Love yourself first.
- Travel. Explore. Live for the adventure, and never forget to love life and the world around you.
- 1st impressions matter. Look fierce buying groceries because you never know. (Also, you want to stop giving the impression that you're pre-pubescent.)
- If you can't stop embarrassment, always keep a sense of humor with you. The way you respond to uncomfortable situations reveals a lot.
- Everyone gets jealous. Jealously corrodes character, so identify it, accept it, come to terms, and release it.
- Spending time alone, reading, writing, art, music and exercise heal you. Television does not.
- You are the average of the people you surround yourself with.
- Visceral verity. Go with your gut. Regardless of this or any other suggestions you are given, your Inner ‘Where the hell do I go from here?’ Compass is just about always right.
