• that kinda rubbish arthur legend kid's book
  • kafka on the shore, murakami (weird. weird, fab...//weird//)
  • the casual vacancy, jk rowling (sigh, didn't /like/ but can't deny it's good, since it stayed with me for days ._.) **edit. lies. it's still bothering me ._. 28/03
  • the gratecrasher, sophie kinsella :) she genuinely captured the embarrassing reality of the suicidal daughter, and the fact that you don't really know someone. quite dramatically, but still, the essential message that in death someone is not all they are thought to be ._.)
  • 13/12 the perks of being a wallflower. sigh. no. you know, half way through i started to get an anxious, forboding feeling that this would end up like the god of small things. it did. i feel...in a sense, betrayed. as though this was an open secret, but no one told me. idk :( i guess it was good. i don't want to talk about it anymore. i don't want to rec anyone this, i wish no had rec'd me it, i don't want to exclaim 'oh, that's so good !' when someone mentions it, i want it to be as though it doesn't exist. sensitive.
  • 28/03 will grayson will grayson :) lmfao why did i think it was going to be will/will ??? the first few lines and the first chapter were. so. captivating. and the rest was good, the ending was nice, but really it was the way to the ending that was great. 'when things break, it’s not the actual breaking that prevents them from getting back together again. it’s because a little piece gets lost - the two remaining ends couldn’t fit together even if they wanted to. the whole shape has changed.' exactly. (so biology :p)
  • lone wolf, jodi picoult. april. educational again, and now i have this...interest in wolves. i wish that she had explained from the dad's pov why he had done that, but she didn't and i'm not sure why. maybe that was the whole point, that to a wolf it's not important ? but to the human side of him it was of utmost importance. so why did he do it... ? hmm ._.
  • the 5th wave, rick yancey. june. def while reading i thought wow this is so good but nearer the end it was a little bit complicated and not as good ? prob bc i was waiting for the terrifying thing that everyone kept talking about, and as the pages dwindled the anticipation grew but it never came. definitely good though.
  • starcrossed, josephine angelini. july i.e middle of rammadaan otl. i loved a lot of it, but definitely reminded me of twilight. instead of werewolves and vampires though, it was different demiplod houses and a curse and greek plod history. kind of like that. i mean it was still good though, i want to read the next one.
  • august. the wold princess, cathryn constable. i liked the way it ended, with the old wolf bringing back her jewellery with blood on his muzzle.
  • august. how to say goodbye in robot, natalie standiford. it's a ya book i really liked this one. it was quite unique i think, it had a unique feel.
  • august. the mirror image ghost, catherine storr. i liked it. ghosts and the past (holocaust) but also on this side about two little girls becoming friends. i liked the family side of things very much. and the left sister dying was sad ._.
  • october. dreamless, josephine angelini. the description of dreamland so so well done ashdjldk morpheous !! mmm yes. and deep purple silk sheets. i liked it very much. the whole omgicantlovehimhe'smycousin thing was tedious but there are some bits and bobs i really liked. 'if men wwere houses, then lucas was my home' also the name lucas. and just lucas in general. i think i'm going to buy the next book. stangely, i didn't feel much for orion. or rather, i like the orion/hector relationship, and hector going all general-y is very pleasing :) hades and persephone's relationship was also very interesting. i want it more explored but i don't think that will happen in the next book...ah well.. :)
