- i avoid #000 black if i can help it
- if ur cool and based, youve noticed that all of the pics in my list are ever so slightly lightened such that they're not black + white, but dark dark gray + white B) (i don't know if it actually makes any difference since this site compresses images to begin with #lol)
- this website uses #333, which i appreciate
- i love glassmorphism... just a little blur behind a box... thats my favorite. maybe a gradient if i'm feeling fancy...
- big fan of crosses, diamond patterns, grey plaid, grids
- i like text shadows
- i like when certain elements are made unselectable... stupid tiny detail but I CARE !!!
- i've learned tho that some screenreaders don't pick up on them though. gotta be selective abt it
- if whatever i'm customizing has user-toggleable dark/light mode (ex: rentry/bundlrs), i try to make sure that whatever i make looks good in both
- but i prefer light mode bc of my astigmatism haha (@ everyone who forces dark mode on theirs.............. you will be boiled)
- except in my IDEs... my brain doesnt really understand that it's looking at code if it's on a white bg
- i like solarized light mode though
