- may hold a specific type/set of trauma memories
- in our experience, we have noticed that trauma holders seem to also hold some sort of self destructive tendencies, likely due to their trauma. not every system may exprience this. we may call them persecutors
- child alters
- babies! usually provide support for others
- aggressor
- destructive/violent in behavior, with others, or in the system
- can be used to classify self destroyers
- NOT the same as persecutors!
- aggressors = outwardly angry, persecutors = inwardly destructive
