liv maegelle is the bastard daughter of her cold and overly religious, asshole father and her out of the picture, flighty who-knows-where mother— one of her father’s many mistresses. despite this, liv holds a lot of love for her mother to this day, aware that her relationship with liv’s father wasn’t the best. so eager for love and attention, only two months away from turning eighteen, she sadly ended up attracting the attention of redacted, a shady and much older man who made his desire to lord his authority and power over liv and the other girls who hung around him no secret. unfortunately, this toxic relationship went on for close to two years, until liv discovered he was killing his girls for food, for his sustenance. after a bloody fight, liv managed to escape with her life. she hated the idea of returning to her father, who didn’t even care where his daughter was all these years, she decided to flee to south korea, eventually becoming a student at seoul national university. after graduating, she decided to take residence in a property listed as her mother’s in taguig, philippines. now living a simple life since she’s no longer in grave danger, she’s taken up homesteading and writing, growing her own crops, taking care of chickens and selling all the produce as her source of income. she lives alone, with the exception of her pet cat, a one-year-old minuet named meraxes, who she calls her daughter.
