- All the Murakami books because there is always a hilarious part in each one that works for one of your more cynical days. The ones i could re-read forever are:
- After Dark
- Wild sheep chase
- Dance, dance, dance
- Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World
- the Elephant Vanishes
- Kafka on the shore
- South of the border, west of the sun
- All the classic literature books like:
- Shakespeare's works 'cause their all somewhat amusing in their own way.
Especially:
- Henry IV (both parts) because Prince Hal is AWESOME
- Midsummer nights dream . . cause they were probably all on some 'shrooms
- King Lear because it sounds like all my relatives
- Hamlet because i am CONVINCED Hamlet was a hero
- Other classics:
- Wuthering Heights
- The Little Prince
- Pride and prejudice
- Sense and sensibility
- Emma
- The Great Gatsby
- the count of montecristo
- Beowulf
- the canturbury tales
- And many others that I unfortunately must dig out my English textbooks for
- some modern fiction like:
- Life as we Knew it
- the time traveler's wife
- the time machine
- the namesake
- Cats cradle
- and others . . .
- Books i want to have:
- interesting ones like about figuring out a death or something with a sarcastic bend to it
- humorously un-humorous situations
- teen fiction stuffs when i feel like being immature with no reason
- psychologically stimulating books
- cheesie romance plots
- books that have great dialogue
