✧ Mulberry Mini Alexa (chestnut)

  • Another month, another bag lol
  • I've been eyeing this bag for a few weeks now and after seeing it in person, I caved and purchased it lol
  • Size wise, it's a little small, but still fits everything I would normally carry everyday. Just need to do some rearranging lol
  • My most expensive purse purchase to date, so I need to be extra careful and get my money's worth of usage lmao

✧ Melixir Lip Butters

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE! This is probably the lip product I've been looking for!
  • Not sticky like a gloss, not matte and drying. Perfect in-between like a regular lipstick: soft and creamy in texture.
  • Color application is sheer, yet buildable!
  • 15+ shades!
  • Vegan, plant-based, and cruelty free!

✧ KEYPER Wristlet(s)

  • Ordered multiple ones lol
    • Coco Brown IT bag, solid color
    • Black IT bag, solid
    • Navy IT bag, clear
    • Saddle Brown 4-pc set: IT bag solid, IT bag clear, & mini.
  • Used the saddle brown color on vacation to hold my essentials and EVERYTHING fit perfectly with room to spare without looking bulky and feeling heavy!
  • Sturdy, vegan leather.
  • Size is perfect whether you carry little or a lot!
  • The wristlet strap alone can be used for many things!
    • Hooks any purse on shopping carts, chairs, anywhere you can hang it on, so you're purse is off the floor! Holds up to 20 lbs!
    • Attach just your keys, wallet/cardholder (if wallet is a keychain type) or anything else and hang it on your wrist for simple and on-the-go access.
  • I was never really into wristlets or clutches, since the one's I've seen/tried were too small, too big, tacky, wouldn't fit everything, too thin, etc. These, however are PERFECT!

✧ 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!

  • Saturday: Private Couple's Massage Package
    • 1 hour of Deep Tissue Massage
    • Extra 30 mins Head and Scalp Massage
    • Remaining time (~1 hr) to use private lounge with jacuzzi and saunas.
      • Complimentary champagne, pineapple, and chocolate waiting for us in the lounge after massages!
    • My massage was INTENSE! They don't lie when they say DEEP tissue massage! My little Korean masseuse WENT IN on my knots and tense spots! It was super painful, but I expected that since work has been strenuous on my body. They really try their best to get everything out.
    • The private lounge after was amazing! Jacuzzi pool and dry + steam saunas were so relaxing! Definitely needed after that massage to soothe my muscles.
    • The boyfriend absolutely loved his massage and his whole body was snap, crackle, poppin' the whole time lmfao
    • Overall, it was still an amazing, and surprisingly relaxing, experience despite being beaten up by my lady haha No hate to her, she was absolutely amazing! I was just being a tense and weak little biotch lol
    • The private package was definitely top notch and definitely worth the price for everything! I will definitely come back, but will most likely choose a less intense massage!
  • Sunday: Lake with boyfriend's family
    • Went to a state park down south for the first time!
    • Swam in the lake and just overall relaxed!
  • Monday: 4th of July!
    • Went to Nick's cousin's house in Philly and swam in their pool and made smores by the fire while spending time with family. Simple, yet memorable!

✧ MINI VACATION: RHODE ISLAND

  • Drove to Rhode Island as our vacation destination. Stayed a total of 4 days and 3 nights.
  • Day 1: Arrival & look around.
    • After the 3.5 hr drive and checking into our cottage, we went to eat at The Red Parrot, since it had good reviews.
      • Ordered lobster nachos, oysters, lobster roll, and lobster salad sandwich. Can't forget the drinks lol
    • Once we finished eating, we decided to take a walk up and down Thames Street, where we went into some small shops and just looked around at the area.
    • After walking, we drove around the area and passed by a little park with a view of the boats on the water.
    • It was a short time on the first day, so when we went back to the cottage, we unpacked and planned what to do for the rest of the trip. We literally didn't have anything specific planned for this trip. Just playing it by ear lol
    • Our cottage was also in the heart of Newport, so everywhere we wanted to go to was only a 10-15 min drive max if not less!
  • Day 2: Mansions & Sunset Sail
    • Visited 2 mansions and it was beautiful! I can't believe people actually lived there with all the different rooms and the amount of people that resided there plus maid/butlers.
    • It was like going back in time how everything was set up and what daily life was like.
    • Went to eat at Midtown Oyster Bar and got seated on the rooftop. DELICIOUS! Ordered a smoked salmon sandwich, chicken sandwich, calamari, oysters (of course lol), and lobster bisque, which was my absolute FAV! I ordered 2 of the same bisque and I had no regrets at all lol
    • After eating, we rented a little buggie car and drove around nearby. We had no idea where we were going, but that was the beauty of it! We always ended up somewhere nice and new.
    • We had time to kill before the Sunset Sail, so we went back to the cottage for a bit to rest.
    • The boat we booked was meant to fit 24 people, but there was only one other couple on the boat with us lol
      • Unfortunately, there was no sunset since it was a cloudy day, but it was still a fun experience on the boat and learning about all the houses/venues we passed by. Being out at sea but scary at first because of the weather, but still felt like summer nonetheless.
    • After getting off the boat, we were in a little area that had some night life to it! Bowen's Wharf! We just did a quick walk around since it was late. We weren't hungry or in the mood for a drink, we just browsed some shops where I bought some souvenirs and called it a night.
  • Day 3: Block Island!
    • We got up early and took a hi-speed ferry to Block Island. We were up standing on the top deck and held on to our lives for an hour because the boat was rocking and they weren't joking when they said HIGH SPEED!
    • Upon arrival, we went to Mohegan Bluffs for the view and to take pictures. There's a little beach once you go down the stairs and climb down some rocky dirt path. After just getting out feet wet, we decided to go to an actual beach.
    • Mansion beach was suggested to us by some locals, so we decided to trust their word and they weren't wrong! It's been a LONG time since I've been to a beach, so nothing felt more like summer than being in that ocean water and having the waves bring me down with them lmfao
    • Our lovely taxi driver, who pretty much drove us to every destination since we arrived to Block Island suggested The Oar for some food.
      • Ordered their famous Mudslide drink, crab cakes, sushi rolls, sashimi, oysters (all day everyday), and grilled cheese.
    • After eating, we decided to rent a moped and drive around the city until it was time to head back to the ferry. The drive was definitely the most summer vibe-y I've felt. The ocean air, people going to the beach, oceans everywhere, wind in my face, hair blowing in the wind, and the sun beaming down!
    • There was about 30 minutes left before the ferry departed back to Newport, so we got some frozen lemonade to drink since it was scorching hot that day!
    • It was an exhausting day on Block Island and I ended up falling asleep for most of the ride back once we found seats.
    • When we got off the boat, we ended up in Bowen's Wharf since it was still early in the day and walked around looking at what to do. We walked back to Thames Street and ended up buying pizza to eat at a park.
    • We arrived at Ocean Drive during sunset and ate our pizza on a bench, while we enjoyed the view. We reflected on our time in Rhode Island and couldn't believe that the next day would be our last for the trip. I took in all the views, the sounds of the ocean, the salty sea breeze, and everything around me one last time before we headed back to the cottage.
  • Day 4
    • On the last day, check-out was at 11AM and it was still too early to head back to Jersey, so we decided to eat at Midtown Oyster AGAIN since the oysters were the best I've ever had and I was also craving the bisque! We walked again on Thames Street one last time and decided to head home since there was a birthday party for one of Nick's friends.
    • Before we officially left Rhode Island, we passed by Ocean Drive again and I wanted to drop down my window and just inhale that fresh sea breeze one last time and look down the beach. I stared out my window until there was nothing left of Rhode Island in view.
  • Overall: the whole trip was AMAZING! It's the first time I actually had a "summer" vibe vacation. The ocean breeze, the beaches, the beachy vibes where everything sold swimsuits, summer dresses, beach towels, the view of boats and yachts floating in the water, and the people were so freakin' nice!! There was no road rage and people are so generous in letting you go when you're driving or a pedestrian. Jersey and New York definitely aren't like that lol This was definitely the vacation I needed where I don't have to worry about work or any stress. We both just needed to get away without any care in the world and actually relax and enjoy. I have fallen in love with Rhode Island and it will forever have my heart. Definitely going back again!
