  • Used for going out, dates, events, etc.

✧ Lip Fondue (scarlet pink)

• Always love a good tinted lip product.
  • Slightly thick, but melts smoothly onto lips while not being too sticky.
  • Color payoff is buildable, yet still noticeable with just a few swipes.

✧ Monthsary Surprise + Weekend Getaway!

• Nick surprised me with tickets to a lantern festival that I've been dying to go to for years! I always get upset when we miss it since the event goes to limited places for a limited time.
• When he told me what the surprise was and that it was in PA, I decided to book a last minute room so we can spend the night in Philly and explore.
• It was a pretty short trip, but we did so much that it felt like we were there for much longer!
• Activities included:
  • Road trip to Philly, checking into our room.
    • I originally booked a nice hotel for us to stay in with a view, but they told us that they were suddenly "sold out" when we arrived.
    • Not sure what exactly happened, but they offered a complimentary room at a nearby Holiday Inn instead, so we just went with that lol We were only staying one night, so it was reasonable, but still a nice room!
• Lantern Festival
  • We tried to go early since there would be A LOT of people and we wanted to find a nice place to set up our picnic blanket.
  • We were given two tickets for lanterns, so before it got dark, we decorated one with meaningful phrases and happy thoughts. This one would be our own personal lantern that meant something to us and we set it off first just slightly ahead of time.
  • The second lantern we kept blank and used mainly to take pictures with before we sent it into the air with everyone else.
  • Food wise, all we ate were 3 batches of different flavored tater tots and a huge jug of orangeade because the lines at the food trucks were crazy long lol Everything was so good though!
  • The whole night was magical and so surreal! I always saw pictures and videos of the lantern festival, but actually being present, having your own lantern, and watching all the lanterns float up into the night sky in person left me in absolute awe.
  • I appreciate the boyfriend for the surprise and it's definitely a memories I can cross out on my bucket list and keep in my memories forever!
• The day we left for Philly, we went to a few places before we actually headed home. Checkout was at 11AM and the drive home was only 2.5 hours, so we made time to explore a bit.
• Activities included:
  • Reading Terminal Market
  • Cuba Libre Restaurant
  • Museum of Illusions
  • Windows down and jamming to loud music while in traffic lmao
• It's been a while since we had a mini trip by ourselves. The whole weekend was just spontaneous and exactly what we needed to getaway and relax.
