✧ Day-Off #1

• Aquarium with the boyfriend
  • It's been a while since I've been to the aquarium (or at least a proper one lol)
  • Fed stingrays, pet sharks, starfish, etc, and even walked on a shark bridge and through a shark tunnel.
• Took a trip to Philly Chinatown since it was nearby the aquarium. We also wanted to compare what it was like to the NYC Chinatown. (NYC is better in my opinion lol)
  • NYC Chinatown has more restaurants and overall food variety.
  • Also, I feel like the best part of NYC Chinatown is the infamous old Chinese ladies selling luxury brand replicas.
• Visited and met Bebe's family in Philly for the first time. Lovely family! Met up with them again one week later since they were up by our area for a game :)
• Went to a live casino and saw my boyfriend in his natural habitat lmao

✧ Day-Off #2

• Bronx Zoo with Bebe
  • First time at a proper zoo as well! There was so much to do and see, so we're planning a second trip to continue what we weren't able to get to. Going earlier this time hehe
  • Need to remember to also do the add-ons like ziplining!

✧ Officially went from per-diem to part-time at work!

✧ MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!

• Friday - Nick's best friend and MY best friend come home for the weekend.
  • Mike comes back home to visit from the Air Force!
    • He missed his pare so much!
    • It was nice for them to hang out with everyone and see each other in person after a year and a half!
    • His visit was so short (3 days) that Nick says it felt like he wasn't even here lol
    • Thanks for your service, Mike! It was great to have you back! Welcoming you to the radiology fam soon! Keep doing your thing out there and stay safe.
  • Steph comes back to visit her family who's moving to another state soon.
• Saturday - Spent the afternoon with Steph and Manny.
  • Ate KBBQ in NYC and watched a movie at Steph's place.
  • Tried an edible for the first time and I'm telling you now, I'm NEVER EVER doing that again. Felt like I was dying.
  • After I was completely fine again, went out to karaoke with babe and his friends in Koreatown.
• Sunday - Baby Shower!
  • Met one of Nick's boys who's the new father-to-be!
  • It was nice to see everyone again since the last baby shower!
  • Event filled with fun, games, dancing, and games!
  • The first baby girl in the group!
• Monday - Productive Adventure! Spent the day in NYC with the boyfriend and went to:
  • The mall here in Jersey.
    • Went to Sephora and wanted help with concealer and the lady was just...not interested. She literally just put a random color on me and told me it was fine, but when I tried it on again in the car, the color was WAY off. Waste of money, returning it.
  • The Vessel
  • The Hudson Yards
    • Went into that Sephora and wanted to get a second opinion on concealer, and this time, the lady was an ABSOLUTE lifesaver! She was so helpful and took the time out to see which color really matched. Thank you!
  • The High Line
  • Ate at Los Tacos No. 1, which is by far the BEST taco place I've ever eaten at. Highly recommend the Especial!
  • Much needed coffee and desserts from Starbucks Reserve! The chocolate tarts were surprisingly good! Not dry, flavorful, not too sweet, and doesn't have that "fake" taste.
  • Ate and drank our Starbucks at a pier during sunset and nightfall.
  • Ended our day with a movie at home on the projector :)
