• Recently started shopping there and I LOVE it! Got some outfits and pieces that are usually out of my comfort zone.
• New outfits literally make me feel more confident!

✧ Rooftop Dinner

• This was by far the best place we ate at, only for the view though lol.
• Food was okay, to be honest. Not really worth the price.
• Music was meh. It was a nice Caribbean vibe at first, but after a while you can't tell if it was a different song or the same one on repeat. Some usual rooftop music like R&B throwbacks would've been better.
• The view made up for the cons, but it's only nice for some drinks and conversation.

✧ Sleepover with new friends!

• Nick & I met new friends, another lovely couple, at my godsister's birthday party while we were playing beer pong lol We both decided to hangout again since we all had a good time!
• Listened to some new generation and old school K-pop, ate really good chicken wings (lol, they were the best I've had!), drank soju, and had some freestyle/rap sessions to some beats!
• We also got to listen to her new single! It was an exclusive sneak peak since we were the first ones who got to listen to it! FIREEE! The song wasn't even recorded or arranged yet, so she sang it live in front of us acapella! It was definitely a fun night and something out of the ordinary!

✧ PHILLY TRIP!

• Last month, I surprised my boyfriend by telling him what I got for his birthday: first row tickets to see his favorite basketball team play in Philly! I didn't want us to just see the game and go straight home, so I also booked us an Airbnb for us to stay in for a few nights!
• Philly day 1
  • Checked in to our Airbnb and relaxed for a bit.
  • Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary! It was pretty cool and definitely had some scares, but there could've been just a liiitttllle bit more scares lol Personally, I feel like the actors at Fright Fest had better scares, but Halloween Nights had better attractions.
  • We didn't do too much that day because I knew he would be tired from the drive from Jersey to Philly lol
• Philly Day 2
  • King of Prussia Mall! We had some to kill before the game, so we decided to do some shopping. This mall is apparently the largest retail space in the US and largest shopping center on the east coast! TRUE! We got lost going from one plaza to the other lol
    • Obviously, I was the one who did the shopping and got new clothes, like a leather jacket and some belts, but the boyfriend generously offered to pay for them hehe Thank you bebe! :)
  • GAME TIME! Philadelphia 76ers vs Brooklyn Nets
    • Got us first row seats in the middle section, so we had a pretty good view of the court and felt pretty close! We were basically the rival team in the home game, so it was a bit awkward walking around with Nets gear on lol The crowd was rowdy, but I expect that at a game. The 76ers mascot also whipped us with a shirt haha
    • The 76ers were pretty much winning up until the last 5 minutes of the game, where the Nets made a MIRACULOUS comeback and won their first game against Philly!
    • Overall, this was our first basketball game ever and even though I'm not a sports person, I'd go to another game any day! The vibes, music, game, everything was just so much fun! I'm mainly happy for my boyfriend who went to see his favorite team play at his first basketball game in first row seats, and witnessing their first win against the 76ers! A lot of firsts!
• Philly Day 3
  • Checked out of our Airbnb at 11AM. We were planning to visit his cousin who lives in Philly before we head home, but her son had a swim meet and wouldn't be back until 5, so we had some time to kill.
  • Went to Parx casino, where bebe was in his element and was actually up in winnings! Then we went to eat at a sports bar within the casino and surprisingly, the food was really good!
  • Ended our day and trip visiting his cousin and her family and just had a little catch up since we haven't seen them since July! We always love to visit them!
• This overall trip was something we really needed: a little getaway and break from work to explore and do something new together. Here's to more adventures and memories!

✧ HALLOWEEN!

• Double date to see Kaskade play in NYC!
• The boyfriend & I were a cop and inmate and the other couple were HyunA & Dawn PingPong!
• The club was crazy crowded and barely any space to dance! It was like packed sardines in there and people kept bumping into each other and pushing others just to move across the floor, so we left early.
• We had a sleepover at their place again and watch some YouTube videos to end the night since we were tired haha
• When we woke up on Halloween day, we just spent the day chilling on the couch ordering takeout and watching scary movies! PERFECT!
  • It's been hard to find other people who love scary movies like I do, so I'm extremely glad to have found new friends like them. They are honestly the best people we've met! They're so nice and really took care of us every time we stayed at their place. It's definitely always a fun time with them and can't wait for our next celebration!
• I haven't celebrated Halloween since I was a little kid, so wearing a costume and getting into the Halloween spirit was refreshing!
