✧ Kindle Oasis (8gb, 10th gen)

• Never thought I'd get a Kindle, but I couldn't resist the Amazon Prime sale lmao
• I am in LOVE with my kindle and find it easier to get through books.
• Pros:
  • Read faster
  • Titles have "true pages", which correspond to the actual pages in the physical versions.
  • Thin and compact. I don't have to carry physical books around and worry about damaging them or taking up space.
  • Thick hardcover books or books with a lot of pages don't seem as intimidating lol
  • Thousands of books in one device!
    • 8gb --> ~3000 books
    • 32 gb --> ~15,000 books
    • Affecting factors include audiobooks, documents, picture books or books with images, and other files.
  • Cheaper price compared to physical books.
  • Warm light settings to read in the dark.
• Cons:
  • More money for subscriptions like Kindle Unlimited.
    • Limits only 20 books at a time. If you want to download, or rather "borrow", more than the amount allowed, you have to "return" them.
  • Not all titles are available on Kindle Unlimited. Major titles are more likely going to have to be bought.
  • If you cancel your subscriptions, books that were borrowed will no longer be in your library and you will have to officially purchase them again.
• Overall, I'm absolutely obsessed with my Kindle Oasis. It's just more of the compact design for me and I find myself reading more pages compared to the physical copies.

✧ WEDDING #2

• Yet another wedding this year, but this time, it was one of MY own friends who I've known since 4th grade!
• It was also a mini reunion after seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new faces!
• The wedding was absolutely beautiful and the reception was fun! So much dancing and living it up!
• Congrats to her and her new husband as they start a new chapter!
  • Seeing one of my own friends getting married makes me think about how old we're getting lmao
