✧ Early birthday surprise for the boyfriend!

• Took my boyfriend to our favorite pier, laid out on the grass, and gave him an early birthday card.
  • Contents of the card: handwritten original poem that expressed how much I love him and I snuck inside his birthday gift. Within the poem, I wrote that I bought him basketball tickets to see his favorite team and that I also booked an AirBNB for us to stay in for a mini trip. :)
  • I was originally planning to give him the card on his birthday, but because of his work, I wanted to let him know of the game/trip beforehand so it wouldn't be a last minute notice and he can coordinate his work schedule for the month accordingly.

✧ 20-course Omakase!

• Made dinner reservations in the city for my boyfriend's birthday! He wanted omakase, so I looked up some places and booked it lol
  • Food was absolutely delicious and well worth the price!
  • The chef we had was the best one we had so far in terms of food and overall service! It was also nice having a conversation with him in Japanese so I could brush up on my skills :)
