• Age: 25 (obviously would vary depending on scenario)

  • Has a preference for girls (trans or not)
• Height: 5'2" (poor baby lol)
• Definitely has an accent. Sounds Australian, but as she gets older it's a bit different. (I imagine her to sound like Claudia Black—her timeskip version anyway. IDK about before that quite yet.)
• She has a knack for mimicking just about any animal call somehow? It’s ridiculous. (Has helped with some missions requiring stealth, though.)
• Absolutely loves dogs and cats. She gets so excited around them.
• Once smoked when she was much younger to seem “cool,” had it become a bad habit later, and now she's struggling to quit. She knows it's not good for her, especially with her job, but it helps with the anxiety.
• Has some trust issues and abandonment issues.
• Suffers from PTSD, social anxiety, and depression.
  • Anxiety just kills her in general, honestly.
  • Her social anxiety was a lot worse when she was younger, but it’s lessened a bit over time. She’s gotten some help to better maintain it.
• Came from an abusive childhood before living in Galahd—both mental/emotional and physical.
  • Really doesn't like hurting people sometimes unless it's out of self-defense. (It just depends on combat or whatever. Her morals are weird/iffy on that.)
  • If she's punched in the face out of nowhere, less likely to dissociate. Might fight back.
    • However, if she's slapped, high risk of dissociating and remembering said abusive childhood.
    • So, she will not appreciate being slapped in the face—jokingly or no.
  • Does not like to talk about that part of her childhood with anyone. She hates even remembering its existence. It's why she has some phobias and other fears she just can't shake.
• Her strongest magical ability is fire. I think her weakest is Protect.
• Has had some “hiccups” with her magic. Red seems to be the color when it's in use, and it's not borrowed from the king, exactly. So, there's been many years of speculation she somehow has her own magic, but has no damn clue why.
  • (Juuust thinking. If we have our supposed “black mages” in the Caelums, “white mages” in Fleurets...where are the red ones?)
• This is something she never really mentions unless prompted or the subject is kinda similar, but Cara once considered to become a Crownsguard. That was where her training first began.
  • There was a special unit for it where more mages were being considered to possibly join the Crownsguard. Cara was among them, but after a time, she just switched to joining the Kingsglaive and went under a different kind of training.
  • So, she might have seen some people who were training for the Crownsguard or are members of the Crownsguard. (But Cara might have been too focused on her training to notice.)
  • [THIS IS VERY TENTATIVE CONFIRMATION] I want to say she started training at 14. It was literally only a while after Niflheim took over Galahd.
    • Overall training, no matter what age, I wanna say took 2 to 2.5 years before she officially joined the glaives.
• She’s sure she’ll never be able to repay Nyx for him saving her life until it can be done in return. Or—to get a little morbid—she dies for him.
  • Over the years, some people have joked about just how close Cara & Nyx are in terms of their relationship, and Cara neither confirms or denies if people assume romantically.
• Actually went to school for a couple of years with Prompto and Noctis until the Kingsglaive just became a bit too demanding. She doubts they remember her in any way.
  • Can admit she was never one of those girls fawning over Noctis; that’s for sure. Any time she was around him, she just treated him like normal.
  • She and Prompto never really spoke, unfortunately.
• Suspects her family heritage might be at least part Tenebraen, because Cara has kept a necklace with her that she never takes off that happens to be in the shape of a sylleblossom. It’s been with her for as long as she can remember.
  • She wonders if, maybe, some of her bloodline had mages. Given to how powerful she became with the king’s magic, and...well. Things she isn’t comfortable telling just anyone.
    • Those certain things may feature some freaky, unexplained happenings with red magic flowing around her. It already does in battle. (That and the writer has their own theories, given we have our “white mages”

    • (I already hint Cara’s kinda weird, so this isn’t surprising for me to add. Fuck.)
• Very loyal to the crown, forever thankful she’s been able to live and serve as she does all because of what King Regis has done.
• Helps refugee kids in Insomnia as much as she can, from holding a little magic show for them to saving up gil to give to their caretakers to help make their lives better in any way she can, even if it means she’ll be short on gil for herself.
• Definitely knows ways of an assassin. (In some ((or all/most)) verses, that was truly her occupation in the glaives. To try and sniff out the traitors and whatnot.)
