• my mom taught me how to make a local cake, it's called kue talam and kue apem gula merah (i love that my mom taught me to bake. she baked with love and always had a freezer stocked with cookies and brownies)
  • my mom taught me how to cook nasi kuning and ayam goreng sambal ijo (my mom first taught me how to cook, she said, "the secret to cooking delicious meals is in the methods you use not in the extra ingredients, she said you can add all the fancy ingredients you like but if the method you cooked is wrong your food won't be delicious.")
