this is all info that ive mentioned in passing before but i am putting this all in one place as my definitive oc jazz post ok?

• JIYNT: he likes easy listening(?) stuff which can lean in a jazz direction. joni mitchell, pat metheny, santana, keith jarret, steely dan, george benson, norah jones. not a huge music person but i make a big deal of the rare times that he does like music
• EMAIL: patrice rushen, herbie hancock but only future shock. he likes disco more.
• JANUARY: he has a lot of used cds which include big band and earlier jazz styles. probably respects Kind of Blue, frank sinatra, nat king cole. generally leans alternative but these are in the mix for variety. probably found at goodwill
• DR PEPPER: would be a reddit mint jams girlie . whatever. and would be annoying about it. thats all also
• SALAD: Biggest jazz fan oc. i would say its his main genre. likes spiritual jazz the best. He also likes jazz fusion especially rock fusion i think. also jazz rap. he smokes to the JC real good. he was a teenager in the mid to late eighties so he saw the middle and end of the main fusion movement. favorites are mahavishnu orchestra/mclauglin, coltrane, pharoah,lonnie liston smith, jean luc ponty
• E FLAT: they like a lot of the 2000s popular musicians who were influenced by jazz also funk stuff. however they like herbie hancock's future2future and its on their ipod. they like his electronic era. they also like jamiroquai a lot lot lot. bit of kool and the gang. i could mention others but idk where to draw the line of jazz categorization
• B NATURAL: he likes hard bop and avant garde. jazz fan all the way. likes charlie parker, diz, lester young, cecil taylor, anthony braxton, art ensemble of chicago, yeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh
• F SHARP: I have the hardest time with her music cause she listens to everything and genuinely everything. but! MINGUS!!! BECAUSE SHE PLAYS BASS!!!! she likes cool jazz the best i think actually though. birth of the cool, chet, ect. idk what her favorite music genre is though. maybe ambient
• QUARTER REST: he likes Brazilian jazz sometimes. on his radio. he likes hermeto pascoal especially
• TIME SIGNATURE: similar to january. likes the rat pack, gershwin, whatevr. likes latin jazz as well and shares that radio with quarter rest. jobimmmm
