Born and raised into a cult, Nadia died in that cult’s group suicide. Turns out that the cult’s god, Teveros, was not a ruthless power-hungry demon like they had thought for so long — but rather, he was a kind deity who was appalled by the inhumane practices the cult had been teaching. His rage only doubled when he learned that they had been forcing their beliefs and practices on the only child in their group — Nadia.

Teveros sentenced the cult as a whole to his equivalent of Hell — a timeless, zero-gravity space where their souls would forever be trapped in immobility, floating through oblivion for the rest or eternity — but had mercy on the young girl, and gently asked her to tell him her life story before deciding what to do with her.

Upon hearing that Nadia had never known a life outside of the cult, along with the fact that she had lost her eye when she refused to follow her parents’s demands, Teveros took pity on her, and offered her a deal — he would bring her back to life as a half-human, half-ghost mix, and he would serve as her guardian angel to help guide her through life. She would be under no obligation to worship him or perform ceremonies, only to live the life that she wanted.

Nadia accepted, and so began her second life — and under the watchful eye of a fatherly deity, it’s been a lot better so far.
