• He lives for ages: Flamel is "the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone" producing "the Elixir of Life, which will make the drinker immortal."
• People keep seeing him all throughout history.
• He doesn't want to die: As Dumbledore said before Flamel gave turned over the stone, "To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure," and while the Doctor's mind is many things, it is not organized.
• "If you look through time then you will find so many artefacts have been signed with clues, all pointing his way." In fact, "You can find his legacy sketched throughout, though the history books always tend to leave him out."
• He's a lover of the arts: literature, paintings, and music alike as is evident from the people he visits.
• He sees angels: Though whether or not they actually help him or are just trying to hitch a ride in his shiny blue box is debatable.
