T's loyal companion, guide, and voice of reason. Maro used to be human, but was turned into a dog as punishment for his sinful life. Despite his fondness for monologues, he isn't too eager to talk about that part.

The King is the catalyst of the events of Desert Party, stealing T's soul for himself and hence trapping him in his realm. His body is that of a stuffed animal so despite being many decades old he is still very much a child due to lacking a body or brain that can mature. He seized the throne 6 years prior to the events of the game after the passing of his Father, the previous king.
