- Step Brothers - B (This movie is herarious, but I can't give it an A because it's just a silly slapstick flick. You know how it is.)
- Milk - A (Not a fan of Sean Penn, but it's hard not to love him in this movie. Also, Emile Hirsch? Quickly becoming a very favorite of mine.)
- Sideways - C (I might have given this movie a higher rating if not for the fact that Paul Giamatti talked shit about merlot. Fuck that.)
- Everything Is Illuminated - B+ (Probably would have been an A if I hadn't read the book. It left out so many things essential to the story that I felt robbed. But as a stand-alone movie, quite good.)
- Gran Torino - A+ (I was blown away. Holy fucking shit. Anyone who doesn't think this movie is stellar is a fucking idiot.)
- Taken - B- (It was fun. I wouldn't buy it, I probably wouldn't choose to watch it again, but it was an entertaining way to pass 2 hours.)
- Death To Smoochie - C (Dude, this movie is weird. Granted, I was drunk while watching it, but it was still weird. Edward Norton was the only thing going for this. He's always the only thing going for a movie.)
- Across The Universe - C (Slightly boring and a tad contrived; tried a bit too hard to be political. Cutie British boy was delightful diversion, though.)
- No Country For Old Men - A (Excellent. Stays with you for days. Javier Bardem totally deserved his Oscar.)
- Donnie Brasco - B+ (A good, solid Mob movie. Johnny Depp and Al Pacino are great together.)
- American History X - A- (God, why is Edward Norton so good?)
- I Love You, Man - B- (This movie was good for a few laughs. And heaven knows I love Paul Rudd. And Andy Samberg. It was just kind of long, and...come on, it was just a silly comedy.)
- Snatch - A (This movie kicks ass! I always knew I liked Guy Ritchie. And definitely becoming a fan of Jason Statham. So adding this to the "To Buy" list.)
- Synecdoche, New York - B (Talk about weird. I'll need to see this one again, sober, just to fucking figure out what the hell is going on.)
- Religulous - A (Watch this movie. It encompasses everything I have come to realize in recent days/months/years about religion/faith.)
- Forgetting Sarah Marshall - B+ (Fuckin' funny as hell. Probably could have done without seeing Jason Segel's penis 800 times, though.)
- Star Trek - B- (It was a fun watch, but the more I thought about it, the less I was impressed. Shoddy character development, terrible chemistry between Uhura and Spock...if it weren't for all the action, it would have been a snore.)
- Super Troopers - B+ (You'd think this movie would be stupid. And it is. But it is hilariously stupid.)
- Wet Hot American Summer - B+ (I don't know how I never heard of this movie before, but everyone should watch it. Especially if you like Paul Rudd or David Hyde Pierce. Haha. Awesome.)
- Underworld - B- (It was ok.)
- The Hangover - A- (I was surprised by how funny this movie was. "What is this, a snake skin?")
- Strangers With Candy - C (What did I expect? Stephen Colbert is by far the best thing about this movie.)
- Underworld Evolution - B- (Still just ok. Although I had a pretty intense dream about lichens after watching this.)
- The Departed - A (Did not want to see this movie. Am now very glad I saw this movie. Truly well done. Except for Marky Mark's hair. Ouch.)
- Year 1 - B (Pretty funny, but probably won't see it again. The end was kind of sappy. David Cross steals the show. Doesn't he always?)
- Beerfest - B
- The Strangers - B+
- Burn After Reading - C (First half of the movie: A+. Second -half of the movie: F-.)
- Bruno - B
- Science Of Sleep - A
- Hamlet 2 - C
- Pineapple Express - C-
- 500 Days Of Summer - A-
- Saving Private Ryan - A
- Crash - ?
- District 9 - A
- Role Models - B
- Fahrenheit 9/11 - A
- Half-Baked - C+
- Chasing Amy - C- (This movie sucked. Sorry, Evan.)
- Rules of Attraction - C- (Also sucked. Sorry, Evan.)
- 8MM - B
- Zombieland - A
- Paranormal Activity - A-
