• Sleeping
  • Flying above the ocean, where there is a layer of clouds below and a layer of clouds above. The blue of the ocean leaks through punched holes in the bottom layer, and rays of sunlight drip through crevasses in the top layer, illuminating the ever-shifting clouds. When the beams strike the plane's wing, they resemble flashes of lightning. The plane ascends gently, the wing slowly cleaves into the upper layer, and all becomes white, then bright. At the top, the gradation of the clouds is visible: nearly clear wisps next to the plane, tightly wound sticks of cotton candy further out, and solid crystal glaciers in the distance. uhh this is too long.
