- Toilet paper can usually not be flushed down the toilet.
- Public toilets often have no toilet seats and/or no locks on the doors.
- The toilet at my house has to be manually filled with water after every use.
- The green walking man at crosswalks rarely corresponds with when it is actually appropriate to walk for more than 2-3 seconds at a time.
- To get from one side of the street to another often takes crossing 4-5 different crosswalks in a time consuming/dangerous manner (see above).
- The left side of escalators or moving walk ways is not reserved for people who want to proceed quickly. No one wants to proceed quickly under any circumstances.
- Electricity costs less at certain times, so I can only wash my clothes at, like, midnight.
- They eat more french fries than any other country I have seen, yet ketchup does not really exist.
- They pretend that just because it's warm from March until November, indoor heating is unnecessary. I'm freezing all the time.
- I went to get a haircut and they used an electric razor instead of scissors. I don't know if this is customary, but...woah.
- Edit to above atatement: It is not warm from March until November. Today is April 27th, and I am still freezing.
