    • clean thermos bottle - fill bottle with water, drop in 4 tablets, soak for 1 hour or longer
    • clean toilet - drop in 2 tablets, wait 20 minutes, brush toilet, flush toilet
    • clean vase - fill with water, drop in 2 tablets
    • polish jewelry - drop 2 tablets into a glass of water, immerse jewelry for 2 minutes
    • unclog a drain - drop 3 tablets into drain, add 1 cup of vinegar into drain, wait a few minutes, run the hot water
  • Hydrogen Peroxide
    • clean cuts and scrapes - apply to skin
    • disinfectant - apply directly to surface
    • dry out pimples - dip Q-tip into hydrogen peroxide, apply to pimple
    • mold remover - apply directly to surface
    • mouthwash - rinse with one capful for one minute
    • prolong fresh cut flowers' life - add to water
    • stain remover - add to stain, let stand a few minutes, wipe excess away
    • teeth whitener - rinse with one capful for one minute
  • Lemons & Limes
    • prevent sliced apples and avocado from browning - add lemon or lime juice
    • remove mildew - use salt and lemon juice
  • Mustard
    • soothe burn on skin - apply mustard on skin
  • Newspaper
    • clean mirrors - use water and newspaper
  • Petroleum Jelly
    • chapped lips - apply on lips
    • create a flavored lip balm - mix petroleum jelly with kool-aid powder
    • create a scrub - mix petroleum jelly with sea salt
    • create chocolate lip gloss - mix petroleum jelly with cocoa powder
    • lengthen and thicken eyelashes - put a coat of petroleum jelly on eyelashes
    • patchy skin on elbows - put a coat on elbows
    • smoother feet - put a coat petroleum jelly on feet at night, cover with socks
    • soften cuticles - apply coat
  • Potatoes
    • absorb extra salt in a recipe - add peeled potato while dish is still cooking
    • remove food stains from fingers - slice potato, rub on stains, rinse hands
  • Salt
    • clean a smelly water bottle - add salt and rinse
    • clean an egg from a surface - add salt, wait 20 minutes, wipe away
    • clean coffee pot - add salt and ice cubes to coffee pot
    • clean greasy pans - use paper towel and salt
    • clean ink spot on carpet - pour salt on ink, let salt soak up stain
    • determine if eggs are good - put in glass of water with 2 tbsp of salt; good if it sinks, not good if it floats
    • get rid of onion smell on hands - put salt and vinegar on hands, rub hands together, rinse
    • keep milk fresh - add pinch of salt to milk
    • make boiled eggs easier to peel - boil in salt water
    • make toothpaste - mix one part salt with two parts baking soda, grind, brush teeth

    • get rid of smell on clothes - put clothes in washer, add detergent, pour vinegar, wash
    • household disinfectant - mix 1 part water and 1 part vinegar in spray bottle
    • keep frost off car - soak towel in vinegar water, wipe windshield
    • preserve swimsuit - mix 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar, soak swimsuit one day in it before wearing
    • remove rust - soak in vinegar overnight
    • shiny brown hair - rinse hair with vinegar after shampooing
